We just came back from EDR on July 30th. Was EXTREMELY disappointed!

The beach is horrible!!! Our room didn't have a fridge or hot water. They corrected this, but the knobs in our shower were reversed. The beds are hard as rocks.

We also had planned a diving trip with "Jose" at the hospitality desk and was told to meet at 10:00 am on Saturday morning to take the shuttle to Cancun. They crammed us 4 people to a bench in the van! Anyway, we asked Jose many times if he was sure that we would make it to our diving destination in time, he said YES. Needless to say he was WRONG! We arrived 30 minutes late, couldn't go diving, wasted half a day and had to pay for a taxi back to the resort. On top of that, Jose didn't want to refund our $150 that we paid him for the diving. He said he would have it to us Saturday evening, never heard from him. We had to confront him Sunday morning. Finally got our money back.

Very disappointed that their gift shop is not completely stocked. Their bar by the restarants leave little to be desired. Not enough seats around the bar and no "dance" floor.

Their website shows the lobby with a big staircase, no such thing.

We were so looking forward to having a nice vacation ... such a total disappointment/hassle!
