My wife and I arrived on July 8, and were quite impressed on how beautiful the resort was. That is all the resort is, a pretty site. There is absolutely nothing to do there except lay by one of five pools. Four of the five pools were either disgustingly dirty or green with algae or fungus. There are absolutely no spa benefits because it is not open due to fact that it is not near being totally constructed. So if want to be pampered, as it states in their brochures, do not look for massages, facials, manicures, etc. don't go to this facility. If you are looking to spend time at their 1.5 miles of beach the El Dorado has much to offer, NOT. You cannot play in the waves of ocean, there are no non-motorized water sports available what so ever; there is no snorkeling, wind surfing, wind sailing, or anything else listed in there eye appealing, misleading brochures/websites. As for the exquisite food options, there is none. The food SUCKS!!! There is only one choice for your breakfast and lunch restaurants, not the multiple choices as stated in there brochures. Do not expect your complimentary champagne unless you fork over $15.00. Expect multiple power outages during the evening hours. Whatever you think you are receiving at this resort is a complete LIE. I hope the many other people we met at the resort who were all as dissatisfied as we were take the time the let everyone in the world know how we got screwed over by FunJet Vacations. I will be seeking an entire refund from FunJet and will not rest until I reach my goal.
