El Faro Comments from a repeat guest

It is hard to find pictures of El Faro online. Its is a very pretty hotel, just like the website. Its rather small (25 rooms or so?) but the food and service are excellent. I believe all rooms are nice, we usually stay in the oceanfront rooms, but have stayed in the garden/pool view rooms, which were just as nice. I dont think the lighthouse room is available for rental, but you should inquire in case Im wrong, as this room was unbelieveable if you can get it. The only rooms that are kind of dark are the cabana rooms, more like closed in palapas, no a.c. Even though its one of the more expensive hotels in Playa we feel its worth the money. You almost feel that you have the hotel to yourselves, and the location couldnt be better. Enjoy!
