: : Hi... : : Well, I've found out just about everything we'll need to know about our vacation at RH in November except: : : 1/ We've booked a 'Royal View' catagory room...It's supposed to be the same as 'Luxury', except it should have an ocean view...Has anyone booked one of these rooms?...Did you indeed have an ocean view?...Are these rooms located in the pool area?... : : 2/ How about the Dinner Theater?...I've heard conflicting reports regarding the quality of the food and entertainment at the theater?...What's your opinion?... : : 3/ Do they have one of those beach parties that so many resorts have?...At Super Clubs Braco Village in Jamaica, a very up-scale place, they insisted on putting you out on the beach at tables and chairs sinking into the sand and presenting a mediocre buffet...And they closed the main dining room that night, so unless you ate from room service, you were stuck...The RH seems too elegant a place to do this, BUT?...Did they?... : : I'd really appreciate if someone would take the time to answer my remaining questions regarding the Royal Hideaway....We've been to Playa Del Carmen several times, so we're comfortable with the area...We really love it!... : : Thank in advance for your help...E-mail me if you'd like... : : LIZ : :Liz, : I just returned from the RH two days ago (I'll : post a report shortly). The Dinner Theater was good. I thought the : food was great. The show was something you : would see at local community theater, remember : it's not broadway. Personally, I enjoyed it. : 3. Beach Parties. They were having one the afternoon : we arrived. It was situated around the pool : area. There was a band and a show, the food looked : excellent, everything first class.
