My husband and I changed tho the Aventura Palace. It is south in Puerto Aventuras. It is an adults only resort. They do not have a beach, bt a man made inlet/lagoon that is beautiful. they've placed tropical fich in it..the pools are great to. Look at my posting to Carrie to get linksto their web sites and other info. The Aventura is far from Cancun and 25 minutes south of Playa del Carmen..so if you want to be close to these town, its not the place to go. You can walk to Puerto Aventura to do shopping, etc. It's a 5 minute walk.
FUNJET IS HAVING A SALE ON THE AVENTURA RIGHT NOW, IT WILL NOT COST YOU AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $$$ TO CHANGE!!!
My travel agent also recommended Riu Palace.
Royal Hideaway is nice, but to expensive for me.
