: We just got back from 3 nights at the El Dorado and it was very nice. Not as Grand as the Iberostar or some of the other new Mega Resorts but still a very nice Resort. Very much a classic
: Mexican Resort. Just make sure you don't get a Room with a Connecting Door. We could hear everything next door and it was not private at all. Otherwise the Resort is very clean and the Food was Great. The best was the beautiful Beach with many Palm Trees and the secluded location. The Bay of Kantenah is pure Nature. There where Turtles laying their eggs at night in front of our building. We where in Suite 3010 which is in the new part of the Resort to the left of the Lobby if you are looking towards the ocean. The views there are great right on the water. However, I would request to be in the older part to the right of the Lobby. There you don't hear the Music from the Theater and I think the older units are bigger and more private. Otherwise we had a good time there. There where no Skeeters in the Room but I got bites out by the Bar. Make sure you bring Repellant. On windy evenings you will be fine but they bite on less windy nights. I hope this helps!
