Those "critters" eat "skeeters", which are way more annoying. Actually, those lizards, which are called anoles or geckos, are sold in NYC pet shops as a 'non-chemical roach control system'. You buy one and set it free in your apt. Usually, you never see it again and the only way you know its there is the lack of cucurachas. I never saw wild monkeys in PDC, but people keep them as pets.
