I've been on my own before several times. The Last Minute club has an air only fare of cdn$398 for the end of June - I'll take the bus from Cancun to PDC then find a small hotel - I will probably try Mom's Hotel...I met some people who stayed there and really liked it. This is by far the cheapest way to do it. Going for the last week of June is my only option - finish my course then starting work so I am trying to squeeze it in the week between. Unfortunately, my friends from Denmark, Sweden and Austria will all have left PDC by then and won't be back until the fall. I still have friends who are locals so I won't be totally on my own. I've been so busy studying for the last 6 months and have had zero social life so I am looking forward to letting loose for a week...specially since I don't have to face the consequences on a daily basis once I leave - whoo-hoo!

: Hoping to go solo myself sometime in the next 1-5 months. Wish it was June but doubt I can swing it. Am considering a B & B or very small hotel. Have you prebooked or are you playing by ear? How about your transfers? Have you done this before? I've been to the area many times but never solo.
