Hi Ann,

I don't think this is a place for kids. Not much for them to do other than go to the pool or the beach. There may be kids activities at the Riu Tequila or the Riu Yucatan, but I don't know (we don't have any kids, so we never bother investigating such things!). As for evening entertainment, there is a nightclub with a live band playing, and one night a week the band plays outdoors in the gazebo. The Riu Tequila has a regular disco, as will as nightly stage shows and entertainment. Guests of the Riu Palace may use the facilities at the Tequila and Yucatan whenever they want, except for the main restaurants at dinner time. The reverse is not true.
