Just got back from Riviera Maya and stayed at the Aventura Palace, service,food and resort was great. This is an all adult and mostly couples, with everyone nice and polite. The beach is manmade lagoon with a great touch. The ocean is not a beach it is a fossil, limestone wall the waves hit the wall with great ocean effect. The lagoon is open to the ocean, but security will not let you out in the ocean part, because it is too dangerous. Fishing is great we caught sails and barracuda on a half day trip from Puerto, which is in walking distance of Aventura Palace.
