Cindy--thanks for all the comments! Sometimes it's better to just not know! Depending on the report, sometimes I hear great things about Viva Maya and sometimes I hear things that are not so great. But then you mention that you would return if the price is right---we're paying $1047 per person for 7 days (we're flying in from Seattle)--is that considered a good deal??? We're basically looking for some r&r, sun, beach--do you think the trip will suffer if we stay at Viva Maya??? Perhaps it's worth a few hundred dollars more to stay in a better resort? Of course, we've already put our deposit down! Thanks for your help/feedback!
