We've been twice and never had problems w/ the food - at all. We eat all types, including fruits and veggies. Do be cautious about using the tap water for brushing your teeth, or drinking the shower water. The water in the rooms is not purified and you will most likely get sick if you ingest it. They are extremely careful with the food and drink at the Iberostar. I would not worry. As a precaution, however, we always take a prescription of Cipro. Your doctor can prescribe it. It is an antibiotic that will kill any of the varments you might get from the water. It will make you more sun sensitive, so I would recommend taking it only if you start feeling bad. This happened to my wife once and she was better w/in 10 hours after taking the Cipro.

I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon. You couldn't be starting off in a more wonderful resort. Best of Luck w/ your marraige too!

: I was just wondering if I would need to be cautious of eating fruit or other items while honeymooning at the Iberostar???
