This abondoned horse was found wandering the streets of Cozumel in the mid afternoon heat,and then tied to a tree with no food or water. Horse lovers from around the world, local school children and businessess have all lended their support and money to help take care of Lucky.I found him 1.5 years ago, at which time he recuperated fully and was a healthy horse, except for his nose infection.


 Lucky has sinced died, along with 8 other horses, from intoxication. Tests have not proved the source of the intoxication, except that it was chemical.


  This page is not intended to be offensive, but only to document the horrifying death of these noble animals, and our beloved Lucky.
